Serve The City Kenya was started in the year 2019 by members of Serve The City(STC) International team. They put together a team of volunteers who started serving the community in various ways and in partnership with other organizations. In April 8th 2025, STCk was officially registered as an NGO and at the time of registration, we had 3 active cities namely Nairobi, Eldoret and Kisumu.
We have since grown and by July 2025 we had 7 active cities and city leaders as follows
History
In 2005, Serve the City began in Brussels as a single week of service, initiated by a Christian faith community called The Well (www.thewell.be). Now Serve the City is active or starting in 65 cities around the world (www.servethecity.net).
